For all you Latin-Jazz-Lovers, don't miss our last concert in this series! Heating up the stage is the sizzling Cuban rhythms of the Havana Quintet who recently opened for Hiroshima to tremendous applause. Closing out is the the hot Puerto Rican flavor of Willie Hernandez & Jazz Puerto Rico considered to be one of Austin’s top Latin Jazz and salsa bands. Co-founded by percussionist & vocalists Willie Hernandez and trombonist Randy Zimmerman, Jazz Puerto Rico showcases original arrangements of Latin classics and jazz standards along with the Caribbean sounds of Puerto Rican salsa.
