El Paso is fortunate to have many talented jazz musicians who not only are professional performers but are music educators within the public and private school systems. The influence of these gifted jazz artists on our community and our community’s youth is evident and it is the mission of this organization to showcase the talent of our youth through our Educational Initiative program by forming the El Paso Youth Jazz Ensemble. By doing so, residents of this area and visitors who travel to this region will readily enjoy the high quality jazz performances by these dynamic youth jazz students along with the professional jazz musicians. We are committed to providing this region with outstanding high quality jazz entertainment while contributing to the quality of life for our community.
